Mayfair Witches, based on the Anne Rice trilogy of novels Lives of the Mayfair Witches, is back for a second season. 

In the show Neurosurgeon Dr. Rowan Fielding (Alexandra Daddario) learns she is the heiress to a dynasty of powerful witches haunted by a sinister spirit. Her search for answers sends her to New Orleans, home to her biological family and the spirit Lasher who has haunted them for generations.
